same chair.
The shop opened when the building was new and has cut hair through every decade since. The mirrors are original. The brass on the chairs has been polished so many times it's gone soft at the edges.
What changed is everything around it. What didn't is how long a proper shave takes, and the fact that a barber ought to know your name by the second visit.
